As part of a consultancy with the United Nations Volunteer programme for the 2021 State of the World's Volunteerism Report, SDI Global Consult was tasked with researching and writing up 8 case studies in the Arab region. The focus of the case studies was to map examples of collaboration between people and states in the four thematic areas of Deliberative Governance, Coproduction of Services, Social Innovation, and Social Protection. SDI conducted thorough research to identify examples of successful collaboration in each of these areas, and then crafted detailed case studies to highlight the key features and successes of each example. Through this work, SDI contributed to the development of the 2021SWVR, which aims to showcase the power and potential of collaboration between people and states in driving positive social change in the Arab region and beyond.
National benchmarking, capacity needs assessment, and training to operationalize Morocco’s ABS framework under the Nagoya Protocol.

SDI supported Expertise France with analysis and guidance for BIODEV2030 and POST-2020, helping inform COP15 negotiations and strengthen biodiversity policies.
